- English is one of the most spoken languages in the world. Nowadays, it is spoken by over two billions people in the world. English has some important roles in some area, such as economic and business, international relations, the media, education, communication, and international travel and safety. Thus, Indonesian people have to learn English because almost every part in our life is delivered in English. People aware about the importance of English, therefore it is taught in formal school and in informal school, such as in pesantren. SMA Pesantren Terpadu Roudlotul Huda is one of the formal schools that teach general subject and Islamic subject, and English is one of general subjects that are taught in the school. As an English teacher in SMA Pesantren Terpadu Roudlotul Huda, the writer had to teach grade tenth and eleventh. From this teaching experience, the writer got some knowledge, such as how to make fun and enjoy atmosphere while learning process, how to make a good lesson plan, and how to handle the students. Also, the writer had to know every student‟s characteristic to make them feel acknowledged, so they could accept the lesson well. The writer was very happy when she did her internship in SMA Pesantren Terpadu Roudlotul Huda because she got new experience, met new people, students and teacher in the school, and gained more knowledge. The other teachers was friendly, it made the writer feel accepted by the students and the teacher, so she could enjoy her internship. In brief, from the internship as a teacher, the writer has new got experience, knowledge, and skills which make the writer become a good teacher in the future.
