  • During to do the internship in SMP Islam Al Azhar Kelapa Gading from 11st January – 12th February 2016, the writer acquired a lot of experiences as an English teacher. As an English teacher in formal Junior High School, the writer had to use the 2013 curriculum from the government and made a lesson plan before the class. As a result, the duties as an English teacher covered not only teaching activity, but also designing the lesson. Being an English teacher in SMP Islam Al Azhar Kelapa Gading was a precious moment for the writer. She felt lucky that she could do the internship in that place and get a lot of experience and opportunity to be a real teacher. The writer realized that teaching big class was not an easy job. In fact, the writer had to find a good method to make the teaching learning process more interesting for the students. During the internship, the writer had an unforgettable memory and very useful for the writer‟s future. She learnt how to control the class, how to handle students, and how to interact with them. The best lesson is how to play as a facilitator in the class. As English Morning indicates improvement in learner motivation, SMP Islam can raise the frequency such as that school must do the English Morning activity in another days not only in Friday. On the other hand, the activity which can do in English Morning is not only games subject, but also speech or conversation. So, it can make the students more confident to speak up in front of audience and make the students speak English fluently.
