  • The aim of this research is to study the prevalence and infection level of gastrointestinal worm nematode on Macaca fascicularis in natural habitat breeding facility, Taman Wisata Wendit, Malang Regency. Forty five fecal samples were collected and examined on March-June 2016. Parasitological examination used for the identification of helminths such as native, sedimentation and floating methods, worm eggs count per gram of faeces were examined using a modified McMaster and identify the egg types. Out of 45 fecal sample, 11 samples (24,44%) was positively infected with intestinal worm, including one egg of Strongyloides sp. The average number of egg per gram (EPG) was ranging from 10 to 50 EPG.
