- These research objectives are to find out and to identify the variety of wealth that can be inherited in the Samin Society as well as the pattern and mechanism of conferring the wealth for the benefit of the widows and the children. This research is conducted based on ideology approach which is typically applied for Adat Law research. Applying the ideology approach, it gives highlight to find the ideal norms. The ideal norm that is going to be identifying by this research is. the pattern and mechanism of distributing the inheritance applied by Samin Society The result of this research is that the structure of family applied in Samin Society is bilateral or parental pattern which is similar to the pattern of common Javanese Society. As it is the same as the bilateral/parental system of Javanese Society, thus Samin Society also recognizes the family wealth which consists of originated-wealth each on husband and wife side and harta gono-gini. The Samin Society also applies the same pattern on inheritance distribution as the Javanese Society. The wealth divides and distributes to both sons and daughters in the family with the equal portion.
