- until nowadays, tengger tribe is still classified and deemed as atraditional society. It is becauce of the tengger tribe holds firmly the holy norm heritaged by the ancestor. The tengger tribe obeys, follows and applies strictly policies of their leaders. the tengger tribe guards and exercises their bekieves as well as actively and rigidly holds the ceremonies those hive to be done based on their culture and bilieves. relating to the child adoption, the tengger tribe usually adopts the child sterted-child in their house until the child grows adult and get married. the adopted-child cannot recieve the "harta asal" from the parents, especially if it is a land, since such land can only be heritaged by the parent's biological-child. the adopted-child can recieve heritage from the parent as long as it the "harta gono-gini" or "harta bersama" (the wealth collected during the parent's marriege)
