- Landscape and buildings have a close correlation, those are the destruction of natural vegetation, land disturbance and erosion, the kinds of exotic vegetation on farming activity, also the restriction on animal life and wild vegetation. Thus, the effects of construction activity on landscape are functions of space (density and pattern) and the components which are temporary (density and pattern change from time to time). Article presents the: influence/determination of building density and part of the landscape on the closure of land surface and land ownership, how the space pattern of building affected the part of landscape, and also how the building and the landscape changed from time to time. Grogol River area is located in the area of Palmerah District, Jakarta. Based on the observation, it can concluded that there are many land usage which are not as intended, so that the conservation efforts to protect soil, vegetation and resources still need to be increased again.
