- Article, theoreticaly analyzes on the influence of geo-textile material utility toward the supporting capacity of shallow foundation on the clay is done, especially to learn the geo-textile influence and contribution toward the supporting energy of shallow foundation on the clay surface by using a theoretical approach. Based on the research, the pulling power of geo-textile does not give a meaningful contribution toward the supporting energy of shallow foundation; also shows that the soil replacement and installation of 4 ms geo-textile on the same powerful param of sliding soil will give the highest safety factor value. The conclusion indicates that by using the geo-textile will give a higher supporting energy compared with a condition without the geo-textile.
