- To create a comfortable residence, unconsciously, it needs a lot of energy for the apartment operational. The decreasing of world energy supply, especially fuel and electricity has caused the increasing of fuel cost. To keep the cost down and save the environment, it needs to build an apartment that sets a high value on environment. Article discusses how an architect is able to design energy effective apartments. The implementation of green architecture is assured to be able to reduce the building impacts toward the surrounding environment. It can be concluded that implementation of green architecture that emphasizes on an energy saving will cause the apartment to become a sustainable building.
