- Land development designed with a Low Impact Development Concept puts forward a solution for medium and long term for the management of run-off water in a region. This concept uses a hydrological analysis, having basic principles such as: protecting natural areas, minimizing negative impacts of development, keeping the local run-off flow rate (site run-off rate), and using a simple technology. One of the ways designed by a biodrainage/bioretention. It can be concluded that bioretention facility has advantage in aesthetic and environment ecological aspects. In architectural terms, plant in bioretention has functions as a view control of outer space and unpleasant things and to get a privacy space, a control of environment temperature and humidity, a control of aroma etc.
