- To determine the structure of foundation on a building construction is based on the building function. Foundation is a part of building structure that sustains the loading of above structure then continue it to the ground. In the building execution of Hampton’s Park apartment, there were some obstacles, those are Cold Joint between the first and second layer at tower 1, and the high ground water table (MAT) at the construction site. To overcome this problem is done by using Calbond liquid and Dewatering method. It can be concluded that, raft foundation is chosen as the main foundation based on the environmental factors and the extent of land on the project, and ground conditions with ground water level is high.
