  • Bored pile foundation system is widely used in various building foundations. The main reason of using this system is the depth and diameter of bored pile or the volume of concrete required, can easily be adjusted to the load structure which will be strutted. Thus, the function of bored pile foundations as a load buffer is very important because it has a great risk if the quality of the bored pile, both in the planning and implementation, is not too good. To get a good quality and integrity of construction, an integrity test of the pile was needed, by using a Cross Hole Ultrasonic Test. The test is done on Suramadu Bridge which was designed to be able to withstand with the working load. It is concluded that the foundation integrity of bored pile has already fulfilled the required criteria.
