- Sumber Mulya Company is a manufacture company run in palet business and the production processed is based on the customer order. Therefore, production cost calculation is having important role in determining the production price that will be used as guidelines of sale price to the customer. The used research methods are survey on the system, analysis on the survey, identification on the information needed, identification of system condition, proposed system design using object oriented method, and literature study. With this production information system, hopefully it will be able to overcome the problem in the company. PD Sumber Mulya merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang palet dan proses produksinya berdasarkan pesanan dari pelanggan. Untuk itu, perhitungan biaya produksi memegang peranan penting dalam menentukan harga pokok produksi yang akan digunakan sebagai acuan penentuan harga jual kepada pelanggan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei atas sistem yang sedang berjalan, analisis terhadap temuan survei, identifikasi terhadap kebutuhan informasi, identifikasi persyaratan sistem, perancangan sistem yang diusulkan dengan metode berorientasi objek, dan studi kepustakaan. Dengan perancangan sistem informasi produksi ini, diharapkan dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang ada di perusahaan.
