  • Taxes are the largest source of state revenue. Advertisement tax and entertainment tax is a kind of local tax that is a source of local revenue. This study aims to look at the factors affecting the acceptance of advertisement tax and entertainment tax in Padang 2007-2011 and is able to show the condition of advertisement tax and entertainment tax in Padang before and after the earthquake 2009 in the city of Padang. After doing research it is known that the population and GDP of Padang positive effect on tax advertisement and entertainment tax in Padang, except for 2010 GDP remained normal despite the population and tax advertisement and entertainment tax in Padang down due to normal inflation rate.
