- This research objective is to find out the empirical proof about the effect given by the Board of Commissioner’s Characteristics such as the BOC size, BOC independent proportion, BOC meeting frequency and the background of the BOC toward company’s performance which is Shariah Banking in Indonesia for the period of 2012-2017. ROA is used as the performance measurement indicator. The analysis method used in this research was Multiple Regression. The result of test using the SPSS shows that none of the characteristics give significant impact to the performance. Keywords: board of commissioner, proportion of independent commissioner, meeting’s frequency of commissioner, company’s performance
