- This research examines peacebuilding efforts that has been done by MONUSCO as a peacekeeping operations on conflict in Democratic Republic of Congo. Two wars has taken place in DR Congo so that peacebuilding efforts are required to create sustainable peace. The purpose of this research is to describe the peacebuilding efforts of MONUSCO on conflict in DR Congo. This research uses peacebuilding concept by Jeerouen de Zeuw using qualitative method. This research observes MONUSCO as a peacebuidling actor on conflict in Democratic Reublic of Congo. The result of this research manifests that MONUSCO has done peacebuilding efforts such as governance reform, disarmament demobilization and reintegration, security sector reform, postconflict election, defend the human rights and increase the roles of civil society.
