  • Diarrhea is one of major health problem in Indonesia. Morbidity and mortality rate of diarrhea is still high, especially in children under five. Pauh Health Center had the second highest incidence of diarrhea in children under five in Padang in 2015. Diarrhea is a disease which has correlation with environmental sanitations, one of them is clean water facilities. This study aims to determine the relationship between clean water facilities with the incidence of diarrhea in children under five in Pauh Health Center working area in 2016. This study used a cross sectional method with total sample is 94 people, chosen with cluster sampling technique. This study also used questionnaires and observation sheets with interview and observation technique. Analyzed using univariate and bivariate with chi square. Univariate analysis results showed that the incidence of diarrhea in children under five (38,3%), qualified clean water facilities (74,5%), unqualified clean water facilities (25,5%). Bivariate analysis showed no significant relationship between clean water facilities with incidence of diarrhea in children under five (p value=0,261). In conclusion, there was no relationship between clean water facilities with incidence of diarrhea in children under five in Pauh Health Center working area in 2016.
