- This research is aimed to test the effect of working capital to profitability. Dependent variable is profitability represented by profitability return on equity (ROE) and return on capital employed (ROCE). While independent variable is working capital represented by perputaran persediaan (PP), rasio kas (RK) and rasio utang (RU). Population in this research is food and beverages sector that listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2011 to 2015. Sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. Data from 14 companies was taken as research samples. The data of this research analyze using multiple linear regression method. The result of this research show that PP not significant effect on ROE and ROCE. RK has significant and positive effect on ROE and ROCE. RU has significant and positif effect on ROE but not significant effect on ROCE. Keywords: working capital, return on equity, return on capital employed, perputaran persediaan, rasio kas, rasio utang
