- The purpose of this research is to identify whether the correlation of character education and students achievements is positively related and knowing how significant the role of gender in the process of it in 9 high schools located in West Sumatra. The data that is used in this research consist of primary data and secondary data. The primary data is obtain by questionnaire and the secondary data is obtain by article and journal related with the topic. The type of research that is used is quantitative, where the data and information obtained through the research will be processed and analysed with SmartPLS 3.0 and SPSS 20. The result of this research shows that the correlation of some of variables that represents character education and students achievements is negatively related and no significant gender’s role on student’s academic achievement.
