- The purpose of this research is to analyze the internal control system in the emergency department of general hospital Solok. Type of this research is descriptive research. Objects in this research is internal control system in the emergency department of general hospital Solok. Type of data used in this research is primary data and secondary data. Collection techniques of data used are library research and field research. Analysis technique of data used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the internal control system is a process to achieve the goals of the organization that consist of policies, procedures, techniques, physical equipment, documentation, and humans. Emergency department of general hospital Solok has implemented a good control environment, activities of risk assessment are adequate, good information and communication, good control activites, and good supervision activities of internal control in the emergency department of general hospital Solok. In general, the internal control system in the emergency department of general hospital Solok has been adeguate, although there are still many shortage.
