- The aim of this research is to analyze the Effect of Cash Payment Instrument to Cash Payment in Indonesia during 2003-2015. While also seeing how the relationship and influence of other macroeconomic variables such as GDP and interest rate and also non cash payment instrument to the cash payment in the short term and long term. This study uses time series for 12 years in the monthly data 2003m1-2015m12. This study uses a Single Equation approach - Error Correction Model (ECM). Results of the study in the short term is variable of ATM debit card is significant and negative relationship on the cash payment in Indonesia. While the other variables not significantly to the cash payment in the short term. In the long term variable of GDP has positive effect and significantly to cash payment in Indonesia. And then variable of interest rate, credit card, debit card and SKNBI a significantly and negative effect on the cash payment in the long term.
