This study was conducted by using Research and Development design through six stages; gathering data and information, need analysis, designing materials and media, validating, revising (final product). The aim of this study was to develop teaching media by using Storyboard That in writing narrative text for Senior High School students.The data were gathered by reviewing documents, conducting interview to English teacher and distributting questionnaire to X IPA consists of 30 students to get the students' need. The interview and questionnaire result prove that the students need the high order thinking writing materials and media. The products have been validated by two experts. The average scores are 4.18 (84%) from the English lecturer and 4.18 (84%) from the English teacher. It was categorize good. It means that the developed media Storyboard That are suitable for grade tenth at Pesantren Al-Mukhlisin.
