  • This study was aimed to explore the students’ critical thinking skills and difficulty on virus material using the online learning system during the pandemi Covid 19 period. The research was conducted from March to May 2021. The research design was descriptive and qualitative. The sample of the study consists of 46 students and it is a total sample. The result shows that the students’ critical thinking skill was classified as good (79%) and the highest indicator of critical thinking skills in virus material is good (elementary clarification/96%). The lowest indicator is strategy and tactics and is considered less (50%). The result in the students’ difficulty online learning was classified as high (69%). The highest indicator is difficult and is considered high (78%). The lowest indicator is method and is considered less (50%).
