The aims of this study were to find out the types of translation interference in Indonesian version of Analisis Data Kualitatif Miles and Huberman (1994), and to describe the process of translation interference used in Analisis Data Kualitatif Miles and Huberman from English into Indonesian. The research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative design. The data of this study were sentences that were translated from English into Indonesian on a book of “Analisis Data Kualitatif Miles and Huberman (1994)” as the source of data. Then the data was analyzed by using translation interference based on (Newmark, 1988) which used to answer the questions number one, two and three to find the types, process and reasons of translation interferences were used in Analisis Data Kualitatif Miles and Huberman (1994). The reasult of this study were found that there were three types of translation interference used in Analisis Data Kualitatif of Miles and Huberman (1994) namely syntactical, lexical and phonological. The process of interference used in Analisis Data Kualitatif Miles and Huberman namely transference naturalization, funcional equivalent and descriptive equivalent. The reasons of interference were carelessness, inadequate reference material, generalisation hypotheses and systemic and structural differencess.
