The aims of this study were to find out the types of speech act of oath utterances of doomsday of English translation of Al-qur’an, and to describe the realization of speech act of oath utterances of doomsday of English translation of Al-qur’an. The research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative design. The data of this study were oath utterances of English translation. Then the data was analyzed by using types of speech act based on (Searle, 1979) which used to answer the questions number one and two.The rea son of speech act (Austin,1962).The data of study was analyzed based on Miles,Huberma n and Saldana (2014).The results of this study were found that there was only one type of speech act in oath utterances namely illucutionary act.The realization of speech act were direct and indirect act. The reasons of speech act was conventionaly act based on austin (1962)
