- This study aims to determine the relationship of Intelligence Quotient to the ability to throw a tufted ball on the target.This research uses descriptive method with correlational research type. To find out the extent to which variants on one or more other related factors are based on the correlation coefficient. The sample used in this research is all students 25 people consisting of 12 boys and 13 girls.. The results showed a significant relationship between Intelligence Quotient on the ability to throw a tufted ball on the target of grade V students Elementary School 064973 Bhayangkara Medan for r = 0.61, t arithmetic = 4.71 while t table = 1.71. So it can be seen that t count 4.71> t table 1.71. From the results of data processing and discussion of research results concluded that the results of Intelligence Quotient tests have a range score between 72 to 130 with an average value of 90.32, While the test capability of tufted ball throwing on the target has a score range 7 to 13 with an average value of 9.04
