PENGARUH PEMBERIAN BAP (benzyl amino purin) DAN POLA PEMOTONGAN EKSPLAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN TUNAS MANGGIS (Garcinia mangostana L.) SECARA IN VITRO

  • This research is aimed to know the optimal concentration of BAP (benzyl amino purine) and the effective truncation model toward the growth of mangosteen bud (Garcinia mangostana L.) trough in vitro. The design is used in this study writer used the factorial completely randomized design in two treatment factors of five treaments levels, so there were 25 combinations. The parameter of observation is the time when buds appear, the number of buds and the number of leaves which is observed from 1 -12 MST, however in explan high (cm) observed in the end of research (12 MST). The result of data are analyzed in statistically and descriptive. Based on the statistic result that has been done, it is found that the treatment of BAP concentration influence and the truncation model of explan to mangosteen in vitro is not significantly affect towards when the buds appear, the number of buds and the number of leaves, and the height of plants. The faster growth of buds in 3 MST in the intact model with the concentration 7,5 mg/l, the highest number of buds and leaves reached was evenly 3,27 and the number of leaves was 22, in third truncation model with concentration 7,5 mg/l, other while the height of plants reached in second truncation model with concentration 0 mg/l.
