- Observations were made in the secondary forest restoration area in Halaban Village, KecBesitangKab. Langkat Resort SeiBetung, GunungLeuser National Park, North Sumatra Province on 04 S / D October 6, 2016 .. The forest area takes 2 observation paths as a sample, namely the right lane of the forest and the left lane of the forest. Where each observation path there are 4 observation points with a radius of 15 meters and the distance between points is 200 m. The population in this study is the whole bird species found in the secondary forest area of Resort Sei Betung Gunung Leuser National Park. The samples observed were individuals from a group of birds that were at the study site. The type of research conducted in this study is descriptive research. The observations show the diversity of bird species in the secondary forest restoration area, (the observation path in the morning is 1.82 and the observation path in the afternoon is 1.05) is included in the moderate level of diversity.
