- The issue of this research is the effort on improving the firm's financial performance and firm value can be affected by Intellectual Capital. This study aimed to examine the effect of intellectual capital on financial performance and firm value listedonthe Indonesian StockExchange.Total of 76 corporatesofb LQ45 index become the population of this research. By using purposivesamplingmethod resulted 21 corporates as the sample. Datausedin the study are secondary data from the annual financial statements 2012-2015 acces sed through www.idx.co.id.Data analysis technique used is Path Analysis.The finding of the study showed first, Intellectual Capital hadpositive effect onfinancial performance. It is meant that the increasingIntellectual Capitalcanimprovefinancialperformance in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Second, financial performance successfully mediate the relationbetween the Intellectual Capitaland the firm value significantly. It is meant that Intellectual Capital managed by the corporate can improve firm value through financial performance. Third, Intellectual Capital managed by corporate had not been able to improve firm value in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
