- ABSRACTSafrizal "The Effect of Biological Fertilizer on Growth and Yield Soybean(Glycine max (L.) Merrill)", under the guidance Ainun Marliah, as the mainsupervisor and Zaitun, as a mentor members. This study aimed to determine theeffect of liquid bio-fertilizer on growth and yield of several varieties of soybean,This research was conducted at the University Farm Research Station 2 IeSeu'um of Syiah Kuala University, Krueng Raya, Aceh Besar. The research tookplace from July to October 2012. Materials used in this study of soybean seed(Anjasmoro varieties, varieties and varieties Wilis Pearl I), liquid bio fertilizerBio-P, urea, sugar, Rhizobium, insecticides Biocron.This study uses non randomized block design pattern 3 x 3 factorial with 3replications, so there are 9 and 27 units of combined treatment of experimentalunits. Each experimental unit consisted of 10 plants sampled. Parameters observedin this study is the soybean plant height at 15, 30, and 45 days after planting, podspithy, empty pods, dry seed weight, weight of 100 grains, and the potentialoutcomes.The results showed that the biological liquid fertilizer varieties Anjasmorovery significant effect on plant height at 30 days after planting, dry seed weight,weight of 100 grains, and the potential outcomes, but significant effect on plantheight age 45 HST, pithy pods, and the effect is not significantly affect soybeanplant height age 15 HST, and the number of empty pods.Further, biological liquid fertilizer on a Wilis variety very significanteffect on the weight of dry beans, and potential outcomes, and the effect was notsignificant on plant height at 15, 30 and 45 days after planting, pithy pods, podsand an empty weight of 100 grains.The biological liquid fertilizer at 1 Pearl varieties very significant effect ondry seed weight, 100 grain weight and yield potential, and no apparent effect onsoybean plant height at 15, 30 and 45 days after planting, pods pithy and emptypods.
