Ikan yangdigunakan adalah ikan kakap putih pakan.Kata kunci: kakap putih, Lates calcarifer, vitamin E, pertumbuhan, kelangsunganhidup, pemanfaatan pakan.-1ABSTRACTThe objective of the study was to determine the optimum concentration ofvitamin E in the diet on weight gain, specific growth rate, sulvival rate, feedconvertion rasio and feed efficiency of seabass Lates calcarifer. The study wasconducted from November 2018 to January 2019 at Center for BrackishwaterAquaculture in Ujong Batee, Aceh Besar District, Indonesia. The completelyrandomized design feed; 200 mg kg-1feed; 250 mg kg-1feed; 300 mg kg-1-1feed; 150 mg kgfeed; and 350 mg kgfeed.The seabass body weight ranges from 2 g to 4 g and total length ranges from 5 cm to7 cm with a stocking densities of 10 fish 10 liter-1. The fish fed at feeding 10% ofbody weight, twice daily at morning and evening. The result showed that the feedwith the addition of vitamin E had a significant effect on body weight gain, specificgrowth rate, feed convertion rasio, feed efficiency and sulvival rate -1of feed.Keyword : Seabass, Lates calcarifer, vitamin E, performance growth, sulvival rate,feed utilization-1-1
