- Hernia is a protsution of the conten prostusi or cavity through a defect or weak part of the wall cavity concerned. Often hernia that cause symptom the patien complained af a lump that most sufferer are adult lazy. One of the causes of increase intra-abdominal hernia is like coughing and straining this makes hernia encountered in jombang area. Of the data hospital RSUD Jombang until 2017 and as many as 30 cases until june 2018 2 kasus. To study about nursing care on client with a hernia inguinalis lateralis including assesment, intervention, implementation and evaluation After the asessment of the results obtained with client experiencing pain scala 6, and lack knowledge of client to prevent recurrence of the disaese. Imlementation of nursing care for 2x24 hours it found thet the pain level was decrease from 6 to 2. Injured client did not show any signs of infection, client and family undestand the treatment done after returniang at home. Teamwork between client or familiy and care giver absolutely needed for success on nursing care, terapheutic communication was encourange the improve the ability of family to care, for sick family membershealth education to improve the knowledge of the family.
