  • The aims of this research were to compare the colour stability of painted nettle leaves extract copigmentated with several concentrations of malang apple extract at 40 oC, 60 oC, 80 oC and towards UV light and found the concentration of malang apple extract addition which showed highest stability. Concentration copigment used were 2 gr/50 mL, 4 gr/50 mL, 6 gr/50 mL, and 8 gr/50 mL. The results showed that colour of painted nettle leaves extract copigmentated with several concentrations of malang apple extract become more stable with more concentration of copigment.
