- The usage of Schoology in the Pronunciation Class is not something which is common to see as pronunciation is not usually being assessed using a media such as Schoology. Thus, knowing the students’ perception of the method will give a more insightful evaluation, whether it has any impact or not on the students’ performance, towards the use of Schoology in Pronunciation Class. For the purpose of the research, 10 students from Satya Wacana Christian University that were on their second semester were interviewed. The interview questions were adapted from Song, Singleton, Hill, Koh (2004). The results of the interview were then categorized based Chapelle’s (2001) 6 criteria of CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning). From the 6 criteria, 5 criteria were found from the interview result. They were language learning potential, learner fit, authenticity, positive impact, and last but not least is practicality. The study found that generally most of the participants have a positive perception towards the use of Schoology in the Pronunciation Class.
