- In some churches, contextualization has become a terrifying and intimidating word. Even though they knew that contextualization will bring the church towards a more meaningful worship with God, some are reluctant to move out from their "comfort zone". Church music contextualization should be understood as a must so that the church will not loose its context within the cultural values that surround it. To borrow I-to Loh's words, church music contextualization is the approach that Christians need to take in order to plant the new seed of Gospel in our own cultural soil
