- This research aims to analize (1) poor household expenditure, (2) energy and protein consumption, and (3) poor household food security. The research was conducted in Sukoharjo Regency with ield research in Karangmojo Village on Sub Distric Weru and Sanggang Village on Sub Distric Bulu were taken purposively. There were 60 poor household samples in the research. Descriptive analysis was used in the analysis. The result shows that (1) poor household food expenditure proportion is 61.06% and non food expenditure proportion is 38.94%, (2) Energy consumption is 1210.26 ccal/capita/day and protein consumption is 31.13 gram/capita/day. Degree of energy and protein consumption are 60.52% and 59.00% from recommended dietary allowance of energy and protein (3) Based on value of food expenditure proportion and degree of energy consumption, status of poor household food security is"rawan pangan."
