- This research aims to examining the influence of psychological success frequency to self efficacy. Many students from Satya Wacana Christian University were participate in field experiment. The result of each examinations in a mathematic class was used in field experiment as a treatment that stimulated participant’s feelings about fail or success of their performance. Psychological success was measured with 7 items to evaluating how successful the person feels in the examination, adapted from the Hall and Foster (1977). Self-efficacy were measured with 17 items, adapted and modified from the Sherer, at al. (1982). Scale assessing the strength of person’s efficacy. Performance was measured with score that achieved by participant in the examination. Linier regression was used to test the influence of psychological success to self efficacy and influence of psychological success frequency to self-efficacy. The research finding shows that influence of psychological success to self efficacy was not significant, but the influence of psychological success frequencies to self-efficacy was significant.
