  • The time resolved absorption spectra of all-trans-spirilloxanthin were recorded by the use of sub-5-fs pulses in the 520 - 700 nm region. The 1Bu+, 3Ag and lBu states were identified, and the lifetimes of the former three states were determined to be 10 +-2, 25 +-2 and 140 +-30fs, respectively
