- Along with the development of communication technology and information systems, PT.Karunia Inti Jaya Agrisarana decided to make the information system Cargo Tracking Online Shopping based on SMS Gateway. This information system is built to facilitate customers in checking the status of goods ordered through the online store and make complaints. The choice of communication technology in the form of SMS is due to more practical, inexpensive, and efficient way to convey information. Short message service (SMS) is a technology that is very much in demand and used by many among the public. Besides being superior in terms of practicality and ease of use, this technology also comes with a relatively cheaper rate for message or data transmission facility transfer of information in a small capacity compared to voice services. Information System cargo Tracking Online Shopping based on SMS Gateway is designed using UML and have function as providers of goods as well as status information via SMS media complaints. Customers no longer have to bother coming to the company or the phone repeatedly just to find out the status of items purchased or to make complaints.
