- Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kerjasama pemerintah Indonesia dan Timor Leste dalam upaya mengatasi illegal cross border dalam studi kasus Pos Lintas Batas Negara (PLBN) Indonesia - Timor Leste, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) pada tahun 2019-2021. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yaitu studi kepustakaan dalam menjawab rumusan masalah artikel ini. Pendekatan liberalisme kemudian digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan kerjasama antara pemerintah Indonesia dan Timor Leste, dengan menekankan hubungan yang saling membutuhkan melalui kerjasama yang dapat menciptakan kondisi ketergantungan untuk mencapai tujuan bersama yakni absolute gains. Studi ini menjelaskan bahwa kerjasama yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia dan Timor Leste dalam upaya mengatasi pelintas batas ilegal di perbatasan Indonesia - NTT telah menciptakan kondisi saling membutuhkan diantara kedua negara yang ditandai dengan munculnya berbagai kesepakatan baru.
- This article aims to analyze the cooperation between the governments of Indonesia and Timor Leste in an effort to overcome illegal cross borders in the case study of the Indonesia - Timor Leste Postal Cross Border, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province in 2019-2021. This article uses a qualitative research method, namely literature study in answering the problem formulation of this article. The liberalism approach is then used to analyze the cooperative relationship between the governments of Indonesia and Timor Leste, by emphasizing the mutual need through cooperation that can create conditions of dependence to achieve a common goal, namely absolute gains. This study explains that the cooperation carried out by the governments of Indonesia and Timor Leste in an effort to overcome illegal cross-border at the Indonesia-NTT border has created conditions of mutual need between the two countries which are marked by the emergence of various new agreements.
