- The aims of this research were to identify the compound of mango seed oil, to determine the fix amount of mango seed oil additional in lotion formula and to obtain physicochemicobiology data of mango seed oil. The additional doses of mango seed oil were used 0%, 1,5%, 3%, and 4,5%. Data were analyzed by the Randomized Completely Block Design (RCBD) with 5 treatments and 5 replications, where as the organoleptic test used 6 items and 30 panelists. Honestly Significance Difference (HSD) at a significance level of 5% was used. The results show that the main compounds of mango seed oil are oleic acid (38,35%), stearic acid (29,85%), and palmitic acid (10,61%). The fix amount of mango seed oil additional was 1,5%. The physicochemico biology of mango seed oil 1,5% lotion were : pH 8, viscosity 6862,35 cP, weightloss 44,56% and total bacteria 1386,78 colony/g.
