  • World Health Organization menyatakan Pada tahun 2017 kasus kejadian Tuberkulosis diperkirakan mencapai 842 ribu kasus dan 116 ribu kematian. Indonesia berada di urutan ketiga setelah India 2,4 juta kasus dan China 889 ribu kasus dari seluruh penderita di dunia. Kasus BTA+ di kabupaten Teluk Bintuni pada tahun 2017 sebanyak 192 kasus, 2018 sebanyak 265 kasus dan 2019 sebanyak 264 kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku pencegahan Tuberkulosis. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan Analitik observational. Tempat penelitian di Distrik Meyado, kabupaten Teluk Bintuni, Papua Barat. Sampel 88 responden, Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil Penelitian: Responden dengan tingkat pengetahuan kurang 42 orang (48%), cukup 32 orang (36%) dan baik 14 orang (16%). Responden dengan sikap negatif 65 orang (74%) sedangkan sikap positif 23 orang (26%). Perilaku cukup 49 orang (56%), perilaku kurang 25 orang (28%) dan perilaku baik 14 orang (16%). Uji spearman rho menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan perilaku pencegahan tuberkulosis (Nilai p Value = 0,214), dan ada hubungan antara sikap dan perilaku pencegahan tuberkulosis (Nilai p Value = 0,000).

The purpose of this study is to describe the level of knowledge, attitudes and behaviors in preventing Tuberculosis. Method: The type of research used is Observational Analytic. Research site in Meyado District, Bintuni Regency, West Papua. Samples 88 respondents, The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Results: respondents with a level of knowledge of less than 42 people (48%), 32 people enough (36%) and good 14 people (16%). Respondents with negative attitudes 65 people (74%) while positive attitudes 23 people (26%). The respondent's behavior is quite 49 people (56%), less behavior 25 people (28%) and good behavior is 14 people (16%). The Spearman rho test showed no relationship between the level of knowledge with tuberculosis prevention behavior (p value = 0.214), and there was a relationship between attitudes and tuberculosis prevention behavior (p value = 0,000).
