- Interactive feedback is crucial to construct more appropriate interpretations of teacher feedback on students’ writing essays, especially in the online learning environment. Milligan (2006) stated that the use of technological tools, including Google Docs should encourage interactive teacher feedback practices. This study aimed to explore Academic Writing students’ attitudes toward the use of Google Docs as a tool for giving interactive feedback for both learners and teachers. This study used the qualitative method with semi-structured interview questions to 17 undergraduate students. The result showed that the students liked and felt happy with the use of Google Docs. The second result showed that all of the participants agreed that Google Docs has a lot of useful features and they perceive the use of Google Docs as useful and effective. Last but not least, the third result showed that the advantages of Google Docs that can lead the students to behave positively are the useful features provided in the application and the disadvantages that can lead the students to behave negatively is that the use of Google Docs can lead to miscommunication.
