  • As we know that the land resources of coastal at Papua has tremendous potential to be developed. Therefore, it is still very necessary maps that can explain many things spatially and linkages between the phenomena in the field. Maps can be generated through various images such as picture of the condition and quality of the environment. ESDA (Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis) is a method that has the discovery of spatial data information based on locational relationship with other spatial data. GIS has the ability to connect a variety of data at a given point on earth, combine, analyze and finally map the results. The data will be processed in a GIS spatial data, which is a geographically-oriented data and a location that has a specific coordinate system, as a basic reference. So that the application of GIS can answer some questions such as: location, condition, trends, patterns and modeling for decision making in planning and management of land resources in the coastal Padaido Islands.
