- This study attempted to describe the development of studentâ€TMs pronunciation through repeated listening to authentic materials. The subjects of the study were five students of Third Grade at Bethany Elementary School who join in Extra Curricular English Class which held to give extra material to the students who couldnâ€TMt understand the explanation from the teacher in class. The average age of the participants was 8 years. They were using English actively in their school to talk with their teachers and friends. The data for the study were collected by their pronunciation when they were reading a story recording. The data would be analyzed by identifying their mispronounced words. The analysis of the data shows that the studentsâ€TM pronunciation developed from first to subsequent practice.
