  • Soybean is one of the main commodity crops in Indonesia. The part that is used in soybean plants is seeds. Based on various uses, the level of soybean consumption is high, but this is not balanced with sufficient domestic production. Water has a very important role in plant life. Plants need water to carry out their physiological processes. Lack of water can cause changes in plants that cannot be reversed and cause death. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of various levels of soil water content on the growth and yield of Grobogan Soybean varieties and to determine the level of soil water content in soybean plants which can provide the highest yield. This study uses RAK (Randomized Block Design), with the treatment of giving four levels of water content, namely 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. This study uses BNJ (Honestly Different) analysis with a confidence level of 5%. The results showed that the provision of 100% moisture content showed significantly different results including the number of pods, number of planting seeds, weight of wet pods, weight of dried pods, weight of seeds of planting and plant height.
