- Pruning is a technical culture activity that is used to improve the agronomic character of a plant. This study aims to determine the effect of shoot pruning on 9 genotype of polyploidy Artemisia cina from induction of growth regulators. The treatment given is TP (without pruning) as a control, P6 (pruning on segment 6), P8 (pruning on segment 8). While the genotype used are M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U. This show genotype respon to pruning differn in agronomicharacter parameter: (1) The high life area is predjust by R genotype with pruning treatment on segment 8. (2) The pruning treatment is not significant on the number of tillers, grandula trichoma size, stomata size, root dry wil and shut dry wil to 9 genotype. (3) The pruning in segment 8 has significan impact on the with of grandula trichoma in genotype O compare to other genotype.
