- Berdasarkan observasi awal, didapati bahwa keterampilan siswa masih kurang maksimal karena guru lebih suka menggunakan metode konvensional yang kurang melibatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa melalui penerapan metode TPS(Think Pairs Share)pada mata pelajaran jaringan dasar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X RPL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Tengaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen penelitian dalam bentuk tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif kelas kontrol 72,78 dan kelas eksperimen 80,86. Hasil belajar psikomotor pada kelas kontrol mencapai rata-rata 72,39 dan kelas eksperimen mencapai rata-rata 86,43. Hasil dari angket mencapai rata-rata 86,90% siswa menyatakan setuju dengan penerapan metode kooperatif tipe TPS(THINK PAIR SHARE)dibantu dengan video tutorial
- Based on preliminary observations, it was found that students’ skills were still less optimalizedas the teachers prefers to use conventional methods which was not involving students much in learning process. This study aims to improve students' activity through the application of TPS (Think Pairs Share) methods on subject ofBasic Network. This study is a classroom action research.. The subjects of research are students of RPL 2 class X of SMK Negeri 1 Tengaran. The instrument that has been used in this study are tests and questionnaires instruments. The results showed that there is cognitive achievement improvement 72.78 in control class and 80.86 inexperimental class. Psychomotoric learning outcomes in the control class reached an average of 72.39 and in the experimental class reached an average of 86.43. The results of the questionnaire reached an average 86.90% of the students are agreed tothe application of cooperative TPS(Think Pairs Share), assisted by tutorial video .
