- Pelajaran IPS sejarah merupakan salah satu pelajaran yang membosankan bagi siswa, itu juga yang menyebabkan hasil belajar dan ketuntasan siswa sebelum tercapai oleh karena itu, siswa tidak suka dengan pelajaran IPS Sejarah. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa agar siswa lebih aktif, lebih antusias dengan pelajaran IPS Sejarah, maka dilaksanakan pembelajaran Snowball Throwing. Metode Snowball Throwing merupakan salah satu metode pembelajaran yang Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif dan menyenangkan. Adapun tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini untuk memenuhi KKM (76) dengan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing pada kelas VIII G SMP Negeri 8 Salatiga. penelitian ini mengunakan analisis deskriptif komperatif, yang memaparkan, membandingkan data hasil belajar siswa dari setiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian yang di peroleh menunjukan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar pada kondisi awal 62,1 dengan presentase ketuntasan 3,7% setelah dilakukan penelitian siklus I data yang diperoleh menunjukan rata-rata hasil belajar 68,2 dengan presentase ketuntasan klasikal 14,8%. Dan rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus II sebesar 89 dengan presentase ketuntasan klasikal 92,6%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran IPS Sejarah Dengan Model Pembelajaran Snawball Throwing SMP Negeri 8 Salatiga dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan menuntaskan siswa kelas VIII G dengan Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM)
- The Social studies of History learning subject is the one of the boring courses for students, so that is causing students’ learning result and passing grade not yet achieved. For that reason, students do not like the Social studies of History learning subject. In order to develop students learning result for them to be more active and enthusiastic with social studies of history learning subject, therefore, the Snowball Throwing technique is applied. The Snowball Throwing method is the one of learning approaches, which is Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, and entertaining. The purpose of this classroom activities ‘research is to full-fill the minimum passing-grade (76) through applying the Snowball Throwing model for VIII G class in Public Junior High school 8 Salatiga. This research uses descriptive-comparative analysis, which is explaining and comparing the data from the students’ learning in every cycle. The results of this research that are obtained, showing that the average of learning’s result from the previous condition with the score 62,1 and the percentage of passing is 3,7%. After this first cycle of research is applied, the data that are obtained showing the average of learning result with the score of 68,2 and the percentage of passing is 14,8%. And the average of learning result in the second cycle achieves the score of 89 with the percentage of classical passing is 92,6%. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that the effort to increase students’ learning result in studying Social studies of History through Snowball Throwing model in the second semester of Public Junior High School 8 Salatiga, is able to increase the learning result and achieve the student passing grade for grade 8 ( class VIII G), with the minimum passing-grade criteria (KKM).
