Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari Bagian Administrasi Akademik (BAA) Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana (UKSW) Salatiga pada tahun 2013, maka jumlah mahasiswa asal Papua yang menempuh studi di Fakultas Teknologi Informasi (FTI) memiliki masa studi lebih dari 4 tahun masa studi normal. Pemetaan jaringan akan digunakan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan yang terjadi antar individu, kelompok mahasiwa di UKSW. Pemetaan kolaborasi jaringan sosial dengan menggunakan Social Network Analysis (SNA) pada mahasiswa Papua yang berkuliah di FTI – UKSW Salatiga dilakukan berdasarkan frekuensi bertemu antar aktor dalam satu minggu terkait dengan pertukaran informasi perkuliahan, tugas, maupun persiapan tes. Hasil dari analisis jejaring sosial menjelaskan bahwa terdapat aktor – aktor yang memiliki peran sentral dalam penyebaran informasi mengenai perkuliahan sehingga dapat mengoptimalkan pola belajar di dalam komunitas mahasiswa FTI – UKSW asal Papua.
- Students from Papua is a valuable asset owned by the District and the City of Jayapura, Papua, therefore, the government felt the need to do the monitoring (monitoring) of all students from Papua. Based on the data obtained from the Academic Administration Unit Satya Wacana Christian University (SWCU) Salatiga in 2013, the number of students from Papua who studied at the Faculty of Information Technology has over the study period than the normal 4-year study period. Mapping the network will be used to determine how the relationships between individuals, groups of students at the institution. Mapping collaborative social network by using Social Network Analysis (SNA) on Papuan students who enrolled at FTI SWCU Salatiga done by the frequency of meeting between actors within one week of lectures related to the exchange of information, tasks, and test preparation. The results explained that there is actors who has a central role in the dissemination of information about the lectures so as to optimize the learning patterns in the student community FTI SWCU from Papua.
