- Students in the Procedural Writting Course are the students who just passed the preceding writing course, Creative writing. In the level, students certainly require much and appropriate feedback fromteachers to improve their writing. In regard to that, this study has the purpose to uncover students' attitudes toward teacher's indirect written feedback in the Procedural Writing course so that moreeffective teacher feedback can be provided to address students' problem in writing. This study is qualitative research in the which students' attitudes can be found using an inteview. A total of 12 pariciPnts were purposely chosen from three classes of Procedural Writing Course in English Education Program of t6he faculty of Language and Literature, Saty Wacana Christian University. The findingsrevealed that teacher's indirect written feedbak is considered important and helpfull faciliate students for revising and rain students to be independent writers even though they find some difficulties utilizing the symbols given at firs. To make it more effective, teachers sould really consinder the appropiate ways to provide understandable feedback to help students understand the symbols' meaning as well as to avoid negative reacionss, fellins, and misunderstanding related to the utilization of the feedback.
